You’re right when you say it would be helpful to find yourself under the auspices of a larger organization. I’m not exactly the uber-radical type, but I like a little in-your-facedness from some ‘campaigns.’ I’m sure most big organizations are taking sweeping steps to make sure we are all represented as good, and moral, and lock-step in our efforts of being completely inoffensive. That would make it hard for them to support something as innocuous as this bus ad effort. *insert eye-roll*

That said, if you’re not already on Atheist Nexus, I suggest you get on over there and start a group, get the word out. They are having their own little donation-problems at the moment, but they’re a great networking site and through a group there you might be able to snag some more supporters and donations.
